Western Deanery - The purpose of a Deanery is to improve communications and to provide more opportunities for mutual support and planning. Deanery normally meets twice a year or more for worship, study and fellowship. Each Deanery Chair serves on the ECW Diocesan Board. She plans deanery meetings and special projects. Alyson Nelson is a native of Boston, MA. She and her husband, Francis relocated to WNC in July 2004. She is a member of Grace in the Mountains, Waynesville.
