Foothills Deanery - The purpose of a Deanery is to improve communications and to provide more opportunities for mutual support and planning. Deanery normally meets twice a year or more for worship, study and fellowship. Each Deanery Chair serves on the ECW Diocesan Board. She plans deanery meetings and special projects. Contact her and offer your help. Be active in the planning process.

Joan is a retired registered nurse; member of Grace Episcopal Church, Morganton; member of the Altar Guild and Mission and Outreach committee; chair of the Caregivers/Committee on Aging. Past ECW President at Grace; now serves as devotional chair. Past Diocesan President and All Saints Day Memorial Offering chair. She serves on the Diocesan Global Mission committee and formerly served on the Commission on Aging. In the community she is a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and is a past Regent; She is President of the Colonial Dames XVIIC and serves as a Docent at the History Museum of Burke County.



Mary, is a retired registered nurse; long time member of the Grace Church. She is past president of the Grace ECW and now serves as Vice-President of Grace ECW. She does the decorating for all luncheon meetings; member of the Altar Guild; member of the Caregivers/Committee on Aging. She is past president of the Grace Hospital Nurses Alumni Association and is presently Social Chair. On the Diocesan ECW Board as Co-Chair of the Foothills Deanery ECW.
